The pressures of the finals of ‘De Grote Prijs van Rotterdam, 2016’ proved to be difficult to recover from. Quickly, BÄSN distanced himself from music, yet to find again: a comforting and inspiring endeavour in his life. In the end of 2017, he was back on his feet, crafting new bits and pieces of melodies that have developed into songs. The idea of openness to mistakes, was how the freshly released EP ‘Mistakes’ came into light. ‘Mistakes’ is a colourful creation full of instruments and catchy/groovy songs. Songs that tell about self-reflection, finding oneself and the good moments in life. The EP was released on Friday, the 13th of April, 2018.
